Beau James - New Chord

I wish that I knew a new chord for you because nothing will do if I'm trying to write a song about you. So I stick to the C because it sounds close to me to what I hear when I see you dancing through my dreams and even though I’m miles away I still think about you every day. Even though I’m miles and miles away I hold out hope I'll be holding you someday.

So I'll keep on writing stupid love songs until the day you fall in love with me, and I'll keep on tugging at these heartstrings until they find the words that bring you here to me because then we’d finally see what we could be.

Do you think of me too lying close to you and when you look to the moon do you hear me singing a familiar tune? Because even though I’m miles away, still see your face almost every day, and even though I’m miles and miles away I hold out hope I'll be holding you someday.

So I'll keep on writing stupid love songs until the day you fall in love with me and I'll keep on tugging at these heartstrings until they find the words that bring you here to me because then we’ld finally see, oh because then we, we’d finally see, oh what we could be.

But I wish that I knew a new chord for you because nothing will do if I’m trying to write a song about you.
